This is the plain-English version of how ReadyForAI.ie (run by Jonathan McGuinness, based in Ireland) handles your personal data. If a longer legal version is ever needed, it will say the same things in more words.
Short version: I only collect what's needed to send you what you asked for. I don't sell or share your data. You can leave the list anytime in one click.
What I collect
The free readiness check: nothing leaves your device unless you opt in at the end. The questions and your score stay in your browser.
If you sign up for your result by email: your name and email address.
If you book a call: the details you give Calendly (name, email, what you'd like to discuss).
Site analytics: basic, anonymous data on which pages are visited — no individual tracking.
Why I collect it
To send you your readiness result and any follow-up guides you asked for.
To send occasional ReadyForAI updates — only if you tick the consent box.
To prepare for our call if you booked one.
To make the site better.
How long I keep it
As long as you're a subscriber, plus a short period after you unsubscribe (for record-keeping). Call notes are kept while we're working together, then deleted.
Who else sees it
The tools that help me run this:
MailerLite — stores subscriber details and sends emails.
Calendly — handles call bookings.
Vercel — hosts the website.
Each of these has its own privacy commitments. I don't share your data with anyone else, and I don't sell it. Ever.
Your rights
Under GDPR and Irish data-protection law, you can:
Ask what data I hold about you.
Ask for it to be corrected.
Ask for it to be deleted.
Unsubscribe from emails anytime — every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
Complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission if you think I've got something wrong: dataprotection.ie.
